Brown Radio Company Profile
Brown Radio is a programming, consulting and content provider for broadcast and internet radio. We offer complete format consulting and programming services for Adult Urban (R&B), Gospel, Jazz and Smooth Jazz. We do not believe in "one solution fits all". Instead, we design and implement research based upon a client's target market, resources and goals. From that we create an all inclusive strategic plan to help the client achieve those goals, while staying within it's budget. As important as research is, it is useless without the ability to correctly analyze it. Brown Radio has the experience to utilize all available research tools and a track record of making the best "gut" calls.
For Audio Solutions Clients we offer complete and comprehensive audio production, including commercial production, voiceovers, audio imaging, program production and more. With over twenty five years of broadcast and production expertise, Brown Radio has the experience, and the talent, to help your audio project get the results you need!

 | President and founder Clifford Brown, Jr. Brown has over twenty five years of successful broadcast programming, production and consulting experience. He has been awarded the AMPEX Award of Excellence as "the nation’s top jazz program director", been recognized as "one of the nation's top gospel and unban program directors" and has helped stations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, San Antonio and Sacramento become winners. Brown is also responsible for helping to create the Quiet Storm sound and programming one of the first successful NAC/Adult Urban radio stations (KBLX). |
| Keith Hines serves as Brown Radio's Development Director. Hines is a 15 year radio veteran, who has practically become a household name in the San Francisco Bay Area because of his work as a host / producer for KCSM (the Bay Area's jazz station) and his commitment to helping local artists get exposure. |
| R.C. Williams is truly one of broadcasting's bright young stars, Williams has already enhanced the imaging of radio stations in San Francisco and Sacramento and now programs an urban ac station in Tennessee. |
| Consulting is overseen by Arif Khatib, owner of Skytime Entertainment and Records. Khatib has over 25 years of successful recording industry experience. |
| Available for music consulting / composition is veteran producer/performer/songwriter Rayford Griffin (George Howard, Anita Baker, Stanley Clarke, Isley Brothers) and Grammy award winner Reggie Griffin (Babyface, Boyz II Men, Waiting To Exhale, Isley Brothers). |
