The American Jazz Countdown
is a weekly jazz countdown of the top twenty jazz CDs. The American Jazz
Countdown features a look at "whatever happened to a jazz favorite from the
past" and a couple of cuts from a new CD in the "jazz spotlight". AJC is
hosted by Clifford Brown, Jr., winner of the Golden Mic Award as Northern
Californias top radio personality and host of NPR's 1998 New Years Eve Live coast To
Coast.
